So, if you wish to visit France, but your budget doesn’t support it, you can head down to this tropical resort. Colmar Tropicale is placed 2,700 feet above sea level and surrounded by tropical rainforest. For this reason, the place seems more unearthly.

Besides the French like vibe, anyone who loves adventure can visit Colmar Tropicale also and for others there are many activities to be enjoyed at Colmar Tropicale, including cycling, trekking, swimming and bird watching.

The Best 13 Things to Do at Colmar Tropicale

1. Welcome to a Dream Village Colmar Tropicale

Dream-Village Colmar Tropicale

You probably saw castles in the movies or fairytale books like “Beauty and the Beast”, “Frozen”, “Maleficent” and many more. Have you ever imagined that these dream villages could be real?

Well! Colmar Tropicale welcomes you in its dream-like village, surrounded by colourful castles, a water fountain, a graceful cuckoo clock tower, a wishing well, and beautiful flowers. After entering the resort, you’ll feel like you have been transported to somewhere unreal, to a fantasy-like place.

Though it seems like a village, Colmar Tropicale is actually a hotel in Berjaya Hill Resort. But it houses numerous attractions and activities for those who come here to visit and stay.

2. Experience the Old French in Malaysia

To experience France, you don’t have to take a 13-hour flight. Located in the middle of a Malaysian rainforest, Colmar Tropicale is based on a medieval France village theme. The picturesque view of the resort will give you lots of Instagram worthy pictures and a traditional feeling of France.

Colmar Tropicale gives you a chance to experience the 18-century lovely city of Colmar in Alsace, France. So history and tradition both are infused here.

What I love the most about their staycation is that all their rooms are situated on the upper floor of the shophouses, which gives you a dazzling view of the cobbled stone streets and colourful buildings whenever you open the windows.

Instead of this view, you can also opt for a mountain and garden view by booking your room near the endless greenery of the rainforest.

Traditional Japanese tea is very famous here. You should not miss it. You can also take photos by wearing Kimono, a classic Japanese dress. Here they rent Kimonos for photography purposes.
