This article has covered all the necessary information about Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Cultural Village, Ipoh, Perak so that you can have a wonderful day off here.

Not everyone is aware of Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Cultural Village (Ipoh). It is placed in Ipoh and is one of the finest tourist attractions in Ipoh, Perak. This place has become a favourite to the tourists for its lakeside beauty and outdoor activities within a short time.

Things to Do in Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village

The words ‘Qing Xing Ling’ mean ‘Serene Hill’ in English. Besides admiring its scenic view, you can ride different types of bicycles, do jungle trekking, set campfires, and of course, you will get thousands of spots to take outstanding pictures.

Scroll down to know what you can do in this new and exotic cultural village in Ipoh.

1. Ride a Free Trishaw

After entering, the first thing that you would notice is the different types of colourful old school bicycles or trishaws. Nowadays, these types of trishaws are very rare. But here you not only get the opportunity to visit this Trishaw but also you can ride them.

It’s a fun way to cover the whole park by riding a trishaw. You’ll get many trishaws options like single, family, couple, and tandem trishaws. Couple-bikes come with two seats, while Family-bikes have four seats, and they are 4-wheel-bike.

These trishaws rides are free, but you have to carry them by yourself. Paddling the bicycles can be your most memorable experience at Qing Xin Ling. So bring your group and choose the one you like.

2. Write Your Wish

Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Cultural Village

This cultural village contains a huge old Banyan tree, just in the middle of the park. The tree is considered as a ”Wishing Tree“. It is really fascinating and fun to make wishes and tie them on the tree, as done in the traditional Chinese period.

So here, you can relive the Chinese tradition by writing your wish on a red ribbon. You’ll get the red ribbon near the tree, and then you have to write the wish on it. But you cannot tie it to the tree. You have to hand over your ribbon to the staff who are available there. Then the staff will do the rest, and you’ll see your wishing ribbon hanging on the Banyan tree.

3. Take Your Instagram Shot

Though some parts of the Qing Xin Ling will remind you about the past generation, nowadays, all that matters is to take some outstanding pictures and short videos for your Instagram, Snapchat, and other social media.

After entering the Qing Xin Ling Leisure Park, you will be amazed by the decoration of nature. The place is perfect for fulfilling your wish to snap some iconic pictures. Almost every part of this leisure park can give you unique pictures. All you need to do is give poses and take the perfect shot.

4. Live Your Nostalgic Memories Again with Their Antique Collection

Antique-collection

If you are from the 60s, 70s, or 80s, this section of the park will make you nostalgic. And you can point to your next generation what you have used during those days.

On the lakeside chalet house as well as around the village, they have a vast collection of antiques dating back between the 60s to 80s. Artefacts like TV, radio, old school vehicles, and many more are displayed here.

And if you are from the present generation, you’ll see the precious things of the past that seem to vanish silently over time. You’ll have lots of spots to take photos, giving you a 60s’ vibe.

5. Watch the 3D Replica

As you know, Ipoh is renowned for its 3D art and being an attraction of the state capital, Ipoh, Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village also houses a series of 3D Replica all over the park. The 3D artworks are so spectacular and transparent that it seems real. Taking some pictures of these murals would not be a bad option!

6. Explore the Limestone Hills

Limestone hills are everywhere in this leisure park. And the most enchanting part is while you’re walking through these hills, you’ll come across many attractions of Qing Xin Ling, such as Memory Lane, their antique collection, and many stalls that were famous in the past days. All these make the park more unique and spectacular.

7. Admire the Dazzling Beauty of the Lakeside

Qing Xin Ling Leisure park is surrounded by limestone hills and beautiful lakes, and this combination makes the place more attractive to visitors. You can always admire the serene beauty of the lakeside here and click some exotic photos. There are many chalets on the lakeside where you can sit quietly and enjoy your time with nature.

8. Swing with an Exotic View of the Lake

It’s not only kids who love to swing. I personally never miss a chance to play the swing. At the lakeside of this park, there are many swings available for kids as well as for adults.

So you can enjoy playing the swing with an exotic view of nature. The lakeside scenery is enchanting, and if you get to swing there, I bet you’ll not miss this chance. Of course, you can have iconic photos here.

9. Get to the Memory Lane

Memory Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village

Memory Lane will actually give you a vibe of old memories back in the 1980s. There is no better way to relive old school memories than an uphill leisure walk. Memory Lane is surrounded by limestone cliffs, and as you walk up through it, you will discover the historical beauty of the lane.

Here you’ll see some windmills and old street stalls there. It is very nostalgic as those street stalls have nearly vanished these days. But they are featured just for show off. You can’t make purchases from those stalls.

10. Read Your Future at Ba Zhi

Whether you believe in fortune-telling or not, it is pretty exciting and fun to know your future in advance. There is a place called Ba Zhi at Qing Xin Ling Leisure that is known for future telling.

But to interpret your future, you need to know your Chinese birth date as it is based on your Chinese birth date and how to read Chinese. However, you can have someone who will translate Chinese for you. And it is totally free of charge, so why not try it.

11. Feed the Fishes

Fish feeding is one of the most fun activities at Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village. Watching the fishes having food is really a lovely view, and I am pretty sure you’ll love to feed them as well.

You can buy one packet of fish food for only RM 1.00 (U$0.24) and feed those to the fish. The park has more than one pond, so there is no shortage of fish. You can also take pictures of those fishes while they are eating.

12. Have a Cup of Coffee

The park also has a small coffee shop where you can rest and taste a warm cup of coffee. It would be pleasant to take a cup of coffee while visiting the mesmerising beauty of surroundings.

13. Enjoy a Picnic

By this time, you will surely know that Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village has numerous spots for picnics. Whether you come with your friends or family, this place always has so much to offer you. You just have to bring your picnic equipment and make sure you don’t leave your trash to spoil the park.

14. Visit the Romantic Chalets

Qing Xin Ling Leisure park is family-friendly and kid-friendly, but don’t think it doesn’t have any facilities for couples. The park has some chalets called “Romantic Chalets” or “Romantic cabins”, which are specially organised for couples to have their romantic moments. These chalets are beautifully decorated with flowers, artworks, paintings, and romantic lightning. So if you are coming with your loved one, do spend some time at these chalets.

15. Take Some Rest at Colourful Chalet

Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village is located in Gunung Rapat, close to some Cave Temples in Ipoh. It’s not hard to find this recreational park, just use Google Maps or see the one provided above and get there. But the trouble is buses do not stop at the entrance of the park. Moreover, Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village located in a residential area, where buses or public transportation not allowed. So you can either drive there by yourself or take a Grab car from anywhere in Ipoh city.

Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Cultural Village is a great place to visit in Ipoh. It has plenty of things to see and do that make it worth the time and money you’ll spend. There’s no telling what kinds of entertainment and tourist spots will be popular in the future—but for now, Qing Xin Ling ranks as one of the best in Ipoh, at least for me.

Do pay a visit to this mesmerising place. And don’t forget to share your experience and photos with us in the comment section.
