What is Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)?

Terminal Bersepadu Selatan

Terminal Bersepadu Selatan is a bus station in Kuala Lumpur. But it is not the stereotypical regular bus station. TBS is a modern and major bus terminal of the city, and the building style is quite similar to the airport terminal.

Opened in 2011, Terminal Bersepadu Selatan is intentionally situated nearly 10 km south of Kuala Lumpur to avoid city traffic. This bus terminal is adjoined with Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) train station via a footbridge.

The connection between TBS and BTS makes them a 24-hour integrated transportation hub, and passengers can travel through TBS to more than 150 destinations all over Malaysia as well as Singapore and Hat Yai, Thailand.

How is the Bus Terminal Divided?

The bus terminal building is divided into 6 levels, and each floor is used for different purposes.

The 1st and 2nd floors are reserved only for buses. From here you’ll get on the bus. It is also called the departure and arrival platform.

The 3rd floor is for the ticket counter and passenger lobby, where you can purchase your ticket and wait for your bus. On this floor, you will also see some convenient shops.

On the 4th floor, you will get restaurants and retail shops, which can be the only reason to take the bus from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS).

The 5th and 6th floors are the parking area.
